The Spiel: A Principled Transformation

Most of us can relate to being stuck in the hamster wheel of life: work, relationships, emotional ups and downs, crazy news cycles, keeping up with the Joneses — and the pressures of everyday life can leave you feeling depleted and alienated from your true self. Investing in others and navigating their expectations and opinions can be costly not only in monetary terms, but also emotionally, mentally, and physically.

But what might happen if instead of investing in others you invested in yourself? What might happen if you could avoid the pitfalls of expectation and comparison? What is the worst thing that could happen if you were to take that dream job even though it paid less? What would be the best thing that could happen? What surprises might result from accepting yourself for who you are?

I humbly dare you to consider these possibilities — and more — as you engage in a principled transformation of yourself.

What is a principled transformation?

Simply put, a principled transformation is a thorough change guided by a consistent application of principles. My intention, as your coach, is to help you to not only identify those principles unique to you, but to also leverage those principles in order to navigate the surprises and stresses that life brings you.

How does coaching work?

The coaching framework I use is based on the DISC personality assessment as influenced by Jeanine Fitzgerald. You will take an assessment, and we will work from that to highlight your personality tendencies. As we work together, we will explore reflective questions to bring your vision of who you truly are to the fore, with your self-identified principles as foundational elements for moving forward, growing and transforming.

What is the goal of a principled transformation?

Our goal is to empower you to use your strengths to seek and discover your own truest self. At first it may feel risky, like an unattainable dream, but as we continue to work together, your intentions will grow in clarity and definition. I will encourage you to live on the side of exhilaration rather than anxiety, to build confidence, to prioritize the most important relationship in your life.

Through our conversations and exploration of a range of tools and principles, I will help you to develop tools you can use to grow, to become your own best friend, and to excel as a student of life.
